The following agreement will need to be signed by you (the buyer) at the time of purchase of the puppy.
This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of the sale of the puppy. By signing this agreement, the Buyer acknowledges and agrees to the following:
The puppy is sold as: Pet Only or Full Breeding Rights (to be determined at time of sale).
The Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery or pickup. Failure to do so will void this agreement and any guarantees.
If the puppy is found to have a life-threatening defect within the 72-hour window, the Buyer may return the puppy for a replacement puppy (of equal or lesser value, same coat color/gender) as soon as one becomes available.
If a genetic defect is diagnosed by the veterinarian before the puppy turns 1 year old, the Buyer must notify the Breeder within 2 business days. A written report from the veterinarian must be provided within 10 days.
No treatment or surgery should be performed on the puppy until the Breeder has been contacted and a second opinion is considered.
The Buyer is responsible for all veterinary expenses and will not be refunded for those costs.
If the puppy is returned for a life-threatening genetic defect, and the Breeder’s veterinarian agrees with the diagnosis, a replacement puppy will be provided as soon as one becomes available.
The puppy must be returned within 2 weeks of written notification of the defect.
No refund will be given; only a replacement puppy will be offered.
The Buyer is responsible for the costs of returning the puppy.
All necessary vaccinations for the puppy’s age have been administered, and a vaccination record will be provided.
The Buyer agrees to maintain the puppy’s health with proper care, including regular veterinary check-ups, vaccinations, and preventive treatments (e.g., heartworm).
The Breeder is not liable for any illness or injury caused by stress, change in environment, or external factors like parasites or infections that occur after the puppy leaves the Breeder’s care.
The health guarantee does not cover:
Illnesses or conditions such as stress-induced hypoglycemia, canine influenza, pneumonia, parasites, ringworm, coccidiosis, giardia, or other viral/bacterial infections.
Conditions that arise due to the Buyer’s change in the puppy’s diet or environment.
No guarantee against diseases contracted after the puppy leaves the Breeder’s premises.
The Buyer agrees to:
Provide a safe and suitable living environment for the puppy.
Follow recommended feeding, vaccination, and exercise schedules to ensure the puppy’s continued health and well-being.
The Breeder offers lifetime support for advice on the puppy’s care.
If at any time the Buyer is no longer able to care for the puppy, the Breeder has the right of first refusal to take the dog back and find it a new home.
The Breeder does not guarantee the puppy’s adult size, weight, coat, skin conditions, temperament, or trainability.
The puppy is sold as a pet-quality dog only, and no guarantee is made regarding the ability to breed or show the dog.
The Breeder provides no warranties other than those stated in this agreement.
Any disputes under this agreement will be resolved in Cochise County, Arizona, and the Buyer will be responsible for all legal fees.
By signing below, the Buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms of this sale agreement.
